OakLeigh Lyndelle Mitchell is 3 years old!!!

OakLeigh was soo excited for today! We ended up driving to Gillette to grab some pizza from pizza "hunt" and she fell asleep on the way there. When we got home, she was mad cause we had to wake her up. So she screamed all through dinner and then stopped when we lit her candles. And giggled and kept saying, "I'm so cited" while daddy put together her dora bike. I dont have a picture of her with that yet. She LOVED her "pwincwess dress and shoes" and wobbles on the high heels all day. I am so thankful for our Oakie. She is such a blessing to our family.

And 1...2...3...BLOW out those candles!

Here is our "PWINCWESS" Dress and High Heals

Opening up her presents! SOOOO "CITING"!!

Well OakLeigh turned 3 today! Wow! Time shouldn't go this fast! She sure is a joy to our family! I have to babysit a bit late tonight, so we decided to take her out to eat to her place of pick on Wednesday evening. She chose Applebees. They sang to her, about 8 waitresses, she ducked down and hid, but when they told her they had brownies (her favorite) and ice cream her head popped up and she had the biggest grin! She was so excited!

New Beginnings

Well we had a wonderful Christmas break! It was sooo nice to have mom and dad here with us! I thoroughly enjoyed this visit! It was great other than I could have had them stay LONGER!

I took a picture of the kids for our Christmas cards, that a lot of family and friends didnt get, cause they are still sitting here on the computer desk. So here is the picture!

For our New Year Celebration, Brandon and I had the movie Grown ups. It was the DUMBEST movie I have ever seen. I can't believe we watched it. The kids all picked movies at the library. We pulled out their mattresses in the living room. They had chips, root beer, pizza, home made peanut butter cups, and HUGE suckers. They all fell asleep by 830! YAHOO! Brandon and I watched our stupid movie. We had pizza and stuffed shrimp mushrooms! YUMMMMY! Toasted our sparkling grape cider at 10:08 and passed out for the night! It was a great evening just at home with each other! On New Years Day, Brandon didnt feel good, so I left him and the girls home and Weylon and I braved the town. We HAD to get groceries. And that was the extent of our celebrations! I saved almost 50$ with coupons! I was thrilled with that!

I have several goals I would LOVE to accomplish for the year 2011...I don't know if I should list them or not. Mainly because I never seem to accomplish them. I am excited for our new little addition who will be here the end of April. Weylon is thrilled to be getting a brother. Someone to play trucks with. I love love love the Christmas season and the snow that comes with it. But once Christmas is over, the snow should be too! I am ready for spring and warm weather. I am ready for the kids to play outside anytime they want. Not when stinking Wyoming snow and arctic wind decides! I love days that stay lighter longer! I love sitting on the steps and watching the kids play in the dirt and ride bikes! I love hearing the birds chirping early in the morning! I love waking up at 500am and the sun is already starting to shine! I love the smell of fresh cut grass (or in our case wild grass). I love the fact that we will have a newborn in our home AFTER RSV/COLD/FLU season is over! I am excited for my 6 week break from babysitting! I am excited for Weylon to graduate preschool and go to Kindergarten! I am thrilled for Savanna to get baptized this June! Can't wait for the Felkins family reunion in June and baby blessing too! Excited to see if Brandon gets this great job opportunity within his company! Excited to start over this year! Renew my goals! Start reading my scriptures more! Use my new stroller this summer! I can see good things in our future! I am so excited for the new year and the adventures it will bring to our family!

Happy New Year! 2011

Well we did it! We survived another year! 2010 has brought my family a few trials. Brandon's older brother, Trent, passed away. It has been the hardest thing Brandon or his family has ever had to go through. I hate seeing them in such pain. I wish there were words or hugs that could take the pain away or at least lessen the pain for them. But I have also been able to witness this family grow together. The death of Trent is very hard and sad, but I would not say it was in vain.

I did not finish this post for some reason.
