Happy Easter!
We did our Easter eggs this morning. I was freaking out about the mess from the dye. It was all over the table! Spots galore! I dug out the magic erasers and waaalaaa! Clean as a whistle! PHEW! Too bad it doesnt work on the kids hands! LOL Oh well they had fun. And later on we will surprise them with a trip to Gillette to see HOP! I am so excited! (Especially because Brandon is so NOT a movie theater goer and he completely agreed with me that we could go and HE WANTED TO JOIN!!!!)
On another note, HOP was really cute! The kids all had fun for the most part. But we did realize that OakLeigh and Weylon are just not into movies enough to take them back for a few years. So not fun when they wont sit still long enough! But Savanna loved it! As she puts it, "that was awesomeness"....must be the new word of 2nd grade...

I've got BABIES on my mind!

So since I am now 6 days from my c-section date, I have been reminiscing about all my children and how tiny they were at birth...So I found the greatest pics to add to this. At the end, I will hopefully have some to add of our newest addition!!!
Savanna Leslie Mitchell was born June 10, 2003. She weighed 9 pds 1 oz. She was 21 inches long. She was such a good little baby! I need to find the disk that has her newborn pics on it, so for now here are a few baby pics of her!
Then we have our little Weylon Alonzo. He was born February 1, 2006. He weighed 8 pds 9.1 oz...He was also 21 inches long. He was a sweet little boy! He cried a LOT though. But we were sure happy to have our little boy!
And OakLeigh Lyndelle was born January 21, 2008. She weighed 8 pd 5oz and was also 21 inces long. She has been one of a kind since birth! What a hoot she is.

Baby Shower
Today a few members of my branch threw me a surprise baby shower! What fun! It was awesome! I will post pictures as soon as they are emailed to me. But it was great to feel so loved by so many good friends!
Weylon took a belly picture of me with our camera that we finally found! So, even though my head is cut off, and I am not looking good, I will post it cause its so far the only belly shot of this pregnancy I have!

Also here are 2 pics I took of Weylon riding his bike and OakLeigh sliding. It was a beautiful day yesterday morning before the rain storm hit! We played outside all morning, then stopped at the park for another hour after we ran to town. Then they played outside again till 630 pm. Oaks was so tired, she came in and immediately passed out for the night and slept from 630 pm till 630 am!

And of course since Savanna was at school, here is a picture of her getting ready for our weekend slumber party. Every friday and saturday night (if they have been good) we pull out the mattress and sleeping bags to the living room. We jump on the bed, watch movies, have popcorn...its become tradition. ONE THAT I LOVE! Because I don't have to fight bedtime! They all usually crash during the movie and I go to bed early! We all love this tradition!

Its the final countdown!!!
So we have 20 days left till my c-section date is scheduled! WOOOOHOOOO! I am so excited to be done. I do NOT remember ever being so tired or sore from my other kids. Must be my age I guess. A few interesting things have happened over the past 2 weeks. So on saturday (March 26th) I put all the kids to work helping me clean house. And boy did they clean! We did great! The bedrooms were clean. Bathrooms clean! Kitchen clean! Living room clean! Laundry going! I even sprayed the oven down with oven-cleaner. Then we headed to town. Kids were so good I took them all with me to applebees. Which was great and yummy. Nothing beats their parmesan shrimp and steak! YUM! We got all our grocery shopping done for the next 2 weeks. We bought a BIG box of lincoln logs for the kids to build with. It was a great day! (All the while Brandon was at work for almost 14 hours...) We got home and I had way overdone it. I was sore. I was swollen and I was grumpy. And I had a weird pain in my stomach and down my side. And it continually got worse through the evening, night and sunday morning. So Brandon took me to the ER to make sure baby was ok. I walked in, told them how far along I was and they immediately rushed us to labor and delivery and hooked me up. Didn't explain what was going on, but I was trying to tell them I wasn't in labor. I just wanted to make sure my baby was ok. Turns out it WAS A FALSE ALARM! Several hours later they let us go home. Got home felt pretty good cause they gave me 2 vicadin. Good stuff! Pain was gone. So, I got my gloves on and wiped the oven down so I could cook some yummy dinner from my friend Heather. Well shortly after sitting from cleaning out the oven, my top lip felt like it was on fire. And I could feel bumps on it. I look in the mirror and it was all swollen and the skin was coming off..So I washed my mouth over and over again. Thinking I had got oven cleaner on my face. Throughout the week, it progressively got worse. By Sunday again, my lips looked like the character from the cartoon Fat Albert. It was not good on me. They were sore, and swollen and blister upon blister were popping. So Kelly gave me the idea to make a baking soda paste and rub it all over. Cause it it was from the oven cleaner it would balance out the acid...did that. IT HURT BAD! Then I started crying all over again cause I looked like I had smeared vanilla ice-cream all over my face. LOVELY. And to top it off, my stupid sciatic nerve IS pinched and I can hardly walk, sit, stand, move...So I have been a mess. I finally called my doctor. Turns out, it wasn't oven cleaner after all. My immune system is so low from my pregnancy, that after 35 years of being COLD SORE FREE, my body decided to make up for lost time. I ended up with over 15 cold sores on my lips. Talk about a beautiful experience! I am thankful that today, I have my boring, thin, NON-LIPS back! I will never again wish for myself to have full lips again. Not pretty on me at all! LOL And NO WAY! I didn't take any pictures. Thank goodness we don't have a camera right now!
On another note, Savanna lost her 7th tooth on Sunday! She is so toothless right now. I am going to try to figure out how to send a picture off my phone to the email to put on here. So maybe that will soon follow!

Poor kitty.....
Well this is kind of gross but I had to post this so someday when I print all this off, my Weylon can read this about himself. So we seem to go through cats like toilet paper. I don't honestly think I can count how many pet cats we have had since we moved to Rozet almost 4 years ago. But the last 3 we had, have lasted almost a year. Today the garbage man came, the one nice cat was fine just before he came. OakLeigh had been carrying him around. He was letting us all pet him. Garbage man left, I was in the garage cleaning the car out. I could hear it meowing, but thought it wanted me to pet it. I didn't. I came in and Brandon went outside. He comes in, says, "Erin, come check this cat. Tell me if she is in labor." (She wasn't pregnant). I think she got nicked by the garbage truck on her back end. So he took it to the back of the field and shot her so she wouldn't be suffering. Weylon of course heard and saw him put it in a bag and throw it away. He just came and asked me "mom are we gonna skin the cat and cut him up and eat him for dinner?" Now can you say GROSS? I had to laugh though, I said, "oooh Weylon thats gross. Do we really eat cats for dinner?" He says, "well we could." So I will leave it at that. On another note, he had kindergarten screening today! WOOHOO! I can't believe he gets to go to school everyday all day next year! He is excited! I am so glad he got to do preschool this year, to get him used to being away from me for a little bit!
